Packed with amazing variety for a smaller store. It feels mellow with such a nice calm atmosphere. Hot Meat special today was steaming hot pork shanks that great grandma started eating in the car. Always something tasty in the deli.

This place is fabulous. It caters very well to the neighborhood and is always adjusting their offerings in response to feedback. They carry a fantastic selection, many more unique offerings than stores two or three times their size. The utility and variety of their store is surpassed by the friendliness and helpfulness of their staff. The cashiers and clerks, stockers and baggers are our friends and neighbors and it shows in their attitude and care that they take. I drive out of my way for the overall positive experience of a neighborhood small town grocery store.

We got some of the best fish of our trip in the deli at Murphy's. They also had my favorite candy bar in the world, the Tony chocolate bar, the Christmas bar dark chocolate with peppermints in it! Love these stores, there are five in the Trinidad/ Arcata area

Near daily shopper at the Sunnybrae Murphys. I really appreciate that the checkers are quick to open another register with the ebb and flow of customers. Friendly staff. Good mix of brands and choices for a medium sized store.
